What every number means and what to do when it looks bad

Quick start

  • ✓ 1. Open Connections and click "Connect" on Google Ads, Meta, or Microsoft — sign in and pick the accounts to track.
  • ✓ 2. In the "Google Analytics 4" card, add your site's GA4 property (uses the same Google login — no extra sign-in).
  • ✓ 3. Have TikTok, LinkedIn, or OpenAI Ads? Paste their access token on the same page.
  • ✓ 4. Open the Dashboard and click "Refresh" — the first sync takes 1–3 minutes, then your data appears.
  • ✓ 5. Explore: Ads Reports for the numbers, Dashboard digest cards to find leaks and see what to do next.

Connect Google, Meta & Microsoft (one click)

  • On the Connections page click "Connect via OAuth" on the platform card and sign in — no API keys, no setup. Everything is handled for you.
  • Google Ads: sign in with the Google account that has access to your Ads. Manager (MCC) accounts expand automatically — tick the client accounts you want to track. The same login also unlocks GA4 and report export to Google Sheets.
  • Meta Ads: log in with Facebook; every ad account in your Business Manager is listed — pick which to track.
  • Microsoft Advertising: sign in with your Microsoft account and choose the advertiser accounts to track.
  • You can add or remove accounts anytime with "Reconnect", or disconnect a platform with the unplug button.
  • Security: all tokens are encrypted before storage and are used only to read your reporting data — the dashboard never changes your campaigns or spends money.

Other platforms & file import

  • TikTok, LinkedIn, OpenAI Ads, and Microsoft Clarity connect with an access token instead of a login — each card has a short "How to" with where to copy it from.
  • TikTok Ads: paste your Access Token and Advertiser ID (TikTok Business Center → Assets → API).
  • LinkedIn Ads: paste your Access Token and Account ID (urn:li:sponsoredAccount:…).
  • OpenAI Ads: paste your API key(s) from ads.openai.com → Settings → API keys.
  • Microsoft Clarity: paste the project token to add heatmap & session-behavior data — then link the project to an Ads account so it shows up on the Dashboard.
  • No API access? Use the File Import zone to upload a CSV/XLSX export from any platform. Data can be cleared per channel.

GA4: site analytics next to ad data

  • GA4 uses your existing Google connection — no separate sign-in. On the Connections page open the "Google Analytics 4" card → "Add property" → pick your site's property.
  • If you connected Google before adding a GA4 property, you may need to reconnect Google Ads once so the app can read Analytics.
  • The card shows which Google Ads account the property is linked to ("↔ Google Ads: …"). This link lives in your Google Ads cabinet (Tools → Linked accounts → Google Analytics) — set it up there if the card says it is not linked.
  • Once linked, reports gain last-click columns: Sessions LC, Conv. LC, Revenue LC — GA4 numbers matched to the campaigns and ad groups of that account.
  • Note: GA4 does not attribute Performance Max to asset groups, so PMax last-click numbers exist only at campaign level.
  • A gap between platform conversions and GA4 last-click is normal — they use different attribution models. The Dashboard GA4 strip shows the ratio.

Why is there no data yet?

  • Your platforms are connected, but the first data sync has not finished yet.
  • Syncing runs automatically on a schedule; the very first one you can trigger yourself.
  • After the first sync, data usually appears within 1–5 minutes.
  • "Stale data" means the last sync is older than your plan's refresh interval — just press Refresh.

How to sync data

  • Click the "Refresh" button in the top-right of the Dashboard.
  • A sync job is queued for each connected platform.
  • Fresh data shows after 1–3 minutes.
  • Manual refresh is rate-limited: Free = once per 6 hours, Pro = every 15 min.

Dashboard — your overview

  • The home screen: KPI cards for Spend, Conversions, Revenue, ROAS and more, each with a change vs the previous period or last year.
  • An All conversions card appears whenever the view can report it — a single Google Ads account, or a Google-only channel filter. It stays hidden in a mixed All Channels view, because the other platforms have no equivalent metric and a total across them would not mean anything.
  • Filter everything by Channel, Account, Date range, and comparison mode from the top bar.
  • The Attention Panel surfaces what needs you now — sync status, alerts, and tracking health.
  • Digest blocks: Budget Pacing, Account Movers, top Opportunities, Wasted Spend, Tracking Health, Site Friction (Microsoft Clarity), and Recent Changes — each self-hides when there is nothing to show.
  • One-click Refresh syncs all platforms; Import/Export handles CSV, XLSX, and Google Sheets. Collapse the chart to reclaim space.

Ads Reports — every level of detail

  • Drill from account to campaign to ad group to individual ad, keyword, or creative — click a row to descend.
  • Tabs cover: Campaign, Ad Group, Ad, Creative, Keyword, Search Term, N-grams, Conversions, Changes, Breakdowns (Audience), Competition, Blended (cross-channel), Quality Score, Creative Fatigue, Efficiency, and Anomalies.
  • Segment by Device, Network, Placement, Age, or Gender (options depend on the platform).
  • Campaigns, Ads and Keywords carry a Status column by default — Active, Paused, Removed or Ended — so a row with no spend can be read as paused rather than as a collapse. Campaigns also show Conversions and All conversions side by side; Keywords add the first-page and first-position CPC estimates.
  • Sort, filter, add custom columns, compare periods, and switch a Total/Day/Week/Month breakdown.
  • Export any view to CSV, XLSX, or Google Sheets — or get a one-click AI Summary of the table.

GA4 Reports — your website side

  • Everything from Google Analytics 4, grouped so it reads like GA4 itself.
  • Acquisition: Channels, Source/Medium, Campaigns. Behavior: New vs Returning, Landing Pages, All Pages.
  • Technology: Browsers, OS, Devices, Screen Size. Demographics: Language, Age, Gender.
  • Extra views: Traffic (default), Items (ecommerce products), and a conversion Funnel.
  • Filter by GA4 Audience, segment by Device, compare periods (delta %), and export — same controls as Ads Reports.

AI Reports — traffic from AI search

  • See how much traffic AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity and friends) send you and how it performs.
  • KPI tiles: AI Sessions (% of site), Conversions & CR, Revenue & revenue-per-session, Engagement, Avg Duration, Bounce Rate — with a daily trend chart.
  • AI P&L frames AI traffic as earned vs paid so you can value it against ad spend.
  • Breakdowns by AI source, conversions per key event, and top landing pages.
  • The GEO Monitor tracks how visible your brand is inside AI answers over time.
  • Google Rank tracks classic organic position, and SEO Gaps compares your keywords against competitors’ (SEO × SEM) — both scoped to whichever site you pick above, not your ad accounts.

Report Builder — client-ready reports

  • Generate a branded PDF or Google Doc from your live data in minutes.
  • Pick a type (Weekly, Monthly, Executive, PPC Deep Dive), a tone (Executive, Detailed, Client-friendly), and which of the 13 sections to include.
  • Optional: set KPI targets for a Plan-vs-Actual block, and add your logo, name, and brand color.
  • The result includes KPI cards, an AI-written executive summary you can rewrite, charts, Wins/Risks, and per-section tables with insights.
  • Save as draft or ready, export as PDF/Google Docs, and schedule recurring sends. Past reports live in History.

Portfolio — all accounts at a glance

  • A single matrix of every connected ad account, normalized to USD so they compare fairly.
  • Columns: Account, Channel, native Currency, Spend, Impressions, Clicks, Conversions, All conversions, Revenue, ROAS, CPA, Health, and Last Sync.
  • All conversions is a Google Ads metric. Rows from other channels show "—" there, because those platforms report a single conversion count with no primary/secondary split to compare against.
  • Health tiles float Critical and Warning accounts to the top so problems surface first.
  • Sort by any column, search or filter by channel, and click "Open" to jump into that account's Dashboard.

Alerts — get told before it hurts

  • Set thresholds and get pinged when something moves: ROAS drop %, Spend spike %, and a minimum-spend floor.
  • Choose delivery: Email (default), a Slack webhook, or Telegram (bot token + chat ID).
  • Pro/Agency plans add multi-account alerts and a daily digest.
  • Save persists every rule and channel.

Understanding the metrics

  • ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) — Revenue ÷ Spend. A ROAS of 3.0x means $3 earned per $1 spent.
  • CPA (Cost per Acquisition) — Spend ÷ Conversions. Lower is better.
  • CTR (Click-Through Rate) — Clicks ÷ Impressions × 100%. Industry avg: 2–5% search, 0.5–1% display.
  • Conversions — the actions you defined as goals (purchases, leads, sign-ups) in your ad platform.
  • All conversions (Google Ads) — every conversion action Google recorded, primary and secondary. Conversions counts only the actions you marked "include in Conversions", so All conversions is normally the larger number. They are two separate fields, shown side by side and never derived from one another; CPA and ROAS are calculated from Conversions only.
  • Conversion value (Products) — the Google Ads conversion value attributed to that product, not a shop-side revenue figure.
  • Sessions LC / Conv. LC / Revenue LC — GA4 last-click numbers for the matched campaign/ad group (Google only, needs a GA4 property linked to the Ads account).
  • 0 and "—" are different answers. 0 means the platform reported the metric and the value was zero. "—" means it reported nothing: the metric does not exist on that platform, or there is no data for the selected period. Neither is ever converted into the other.

Filters, columns & granularity

  • Channel / account / date range (top bar) scope every report; an explicit from–to range is supported.
  • "Filter" button — Google Ads-style conditions: campaign / ad group / ad name (contains / not contains) and metric thresholds (spend > 100, CTR > 2%…). On Creatives, also creative text and type (photo / video / text). Totals follow the filters.
  • Column sets (the columns icon): built-in presets (E-commerce, Lead Gen…), your own sets, and "hide empty columns". Drag headers to reorder, click to sort.
  • Total / Day / Week / Month — every tab can be broken down by period.
  • Export (CSV / XLSX / Google Sheets) always honors the active filters.

Plans & data refresh

  • Free: auto-sync every 6 hours, 30-day history.
  • Pro: auto-sync every 15 minutes, 1-year history, exports, AI features, alerts.
  • Enterprise: real-time sync, unlimited history, API access, priority support.
  • All plans: manual sync via the Refresh button (rate-limited). Compare and upgrade on the Billing page.

Errors & fixes

When something fails, the message in the red banner matches one of the rows below. Most fixes are a single click on your side.

GA4_SCOPE_MISSING

What it means: Your Google connection lacks the Analytics read permission (it was connected before GA4 was added).

How to fix: Reconnect Google Ads once on the Connections page — the sign-in window will request the Analytics permission.

GOOGLE_TOKEN_EXPIRED (token expired)

What it means: The saved Google login expired or was revoked.

How to fix: Reconnect Google Ads on the Connections page.

google_no_accessible_customers

What it means: The connected Google account has no Google Ads accounts you can access.

How to fix: Reconnect with a Google account that has access to your Ads (or ask to be added to the Ads account).

Connection shows "Expired" / "Stale data"

What it means: The platform login expired, or the last sync is older than your plan's refresh interval.

How to fix: Reconnect the platform and/or click "Refresh" on the Dashboard.

REFRESH_RATE_LIMIT (429)

What it means: Manual refresh used too often for your plan (Free: 1 per 6h, Pro: 4 per hour).

How to fix: Wait for the window shown in the message to reset, or upgrade the plan.

PLAN_CHANNEL_LIMIT (402)

What it means: Your plan allows fewer channels than you are trying to connect.

How to fix: Upgrade the plan on the Billing page.

TRIAL_EXPIRED / SUBSCRIPTION_EXPIRED (402)

What it means: The trial ended, or the subscription was canceled past its grace period.

How to fix: Choose or renew a plan on the Billing page.

Current password is incorrect (CURRENT_PASSWORD_INVALID)

What it means: The current password entered in Users & Password does not match.

How to fix: Re-enter the correct current password. If forgotten, use "Forgot password" on the login screen.

Could not connect / Save & Connect failed

What it means: The platform rejected the token or a required field, or a temporary error occurred while saving.

How to fix: Re-check the token and fields and try again. If it keeps failing, contact support with the platform name and time.
